In all situations, I looked at the mind-body-emotion-soul connections to discover the underlying message of what was being learnt within each experience. This also meant looking at how this applied to myself and my own experiences and how I was moving forward within my own healing process. My understanding, beliefs and lifestyle have all changed over the years, and continue to do so as I move into greater health and well-being.
Intuitive guidance has played a strong role throughout my life.
As a child, this was natural to me and left me feeling deeply connected to the natural world around me. As a teenager, and as a young woman I struggled with this sense as it intensified and became overwhelming, and left me struggling to understand what I was seeing.
This intuitive sensing and sense of guides has been one of my greatest challenges. In the beginning I had no "teachers" that I knew of in around me - and no context to frame what I was experiencing. At times, much of what I experienced left me questioning myself and my place within the world.
The work that I do now combines both the practical experience and knowledge I have gained over the years, with my intuitive sense. I work to pass these skills on - teaching others to do the same - and to take what I've learnt - and go beyond this into more - doing it for themselvs.
Key factors with this are keeping it practical, and keeping it fun.
Because if its not practical, and you are not having fun doing it - why do it?
I work not only with individuals from the role of a holistic energetics therapist, but also with groups and communities, bringing the knowledge of energy awareness & intuitive guidance together with a passion for Permaculture and sustainability.
I have been fascinated by permaculture from the first time I heard about it in 2000, although it took me 7 years before I began to study this more formally.
I instinctively feel that there is a need within communities for growth and support - in a practical and life-honouring way. I do not feel we live in isolation from each other, and deep within me, there is the knowledge that for one to benefit - all need to benefit.
I often find myself often travelling between very different communities, and seek to share what I can, where I can, when I can.
I do this intuitively, because it is something which simply calls to me to be done.
We grow, not in isolation but within relationship- within community.
Digging ditches, growing food, living within healthy communities - healing for body, mind, emotions and soul.
In this present day and age, there is a need not just to heal our own bodies, but the body of the planet on which we stand. I seek to bring the intuitive guidance, the knowledge and skills I have towards this, as well as to the work I do with individuals.
